The Analytics page shows how shoppers use your swatches: which products they click most, which colors they click while the product is sold out, whether they shop from a phone or a desktop, and how far down the swatch row their attention goes.
Nothing to set up. Open the app in your Shopify admin and click Analytics in the menu. Tracking runs on every store, on every plan, at no extra cost. There is no script to add and no account to connect.
A click is counted when a shopper clicks a swatch that takes them to another product in the group, anywhere your swatches appear: product pages, collection pages, search results, and recommendation rows. Clicking the swatch of the product already being viewed is not counted, and neither are clicks in the app's preview or the theme editor, so testing your own store never inflates your numbers.
| Card | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Swatch clicks | Total clicks for the selected period, split into product page clicks and product card clicks (collection pages, search, recommendations), with a day-by-day chart. |
| Most clicked products | Your top products by swatch clicks. Each row opens that product in your Shopify admin. |
| Top groups by swatch clicks | The same ranking one level up: which product groups get the most interaction. Each row links to the group inside the app. |
| Clicks by device | How clicks split between mobile and desktop shoppers. |
| Sold-out demand | How many times shoppers clicked a swatch for a product that was out of stock at that moment, and which products it happened to. Demand you did not capture, listed by product. |
| Position insights | How clicks spread across the swatch row, including the share that lands on the first three swatches. Useful when deciding your sorting rules. |
Three filters at the top apply to every card at once: date range (last 7, 30, or 90 days), device (all, mobile, or desktop), and click type (all clicks, product page, or product cards).
Once a week you get a short email with the previous week's clicks, how that compares with the week before, the mobile share, and a sold-out demand teaser, with a link into the dashboard. Quiet weeks send nothing, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
